| The Apartment Building is an
NYC rarity. It's not too hard to find factories that have been abandoned,
but in a city where housing is of short supply and real estate valued
higher than your mom in the 60's, finding a location like this is
by no means an easy task. So far as I know, this is the only 100+
unit apartment building in the city to be left in this sad twisted
state. it has been abandoned for nearly 10 years, yet it remains fairly
well intact to the untrained eye. If you come around back though,
you'll start to get some idea what is up... and once inside, the shock
of the size of this discovery comes into play. |

The Purple Apartment
This hallway still had it's lights on. You find yourself standing
here thinking about how utterly normal the place looks and how there
ought to be people behind every door... but there are not...
Out the window, looking across at the other wing...
