| .ASBESTOS SPIDER- 3.24.2004 For some sixk reason, an improper assumption was made. The assuption was that we were dealing with a mere 2 building situation, and that the rest of this campus would be entirely active and inaccessible. Fortunately, we turned out to be very, very wrong. Once inside, we found a tunnel entrance, leading us not only to our other target building, but to several others, active and none. The tunnels themselves stretched far and long in many directions. We didn't even get to check them all out in one night. Minor and major flooding stopped us at some points. The one most notible thing I found of these tunnels and buildings were the utility carts, left everywhere possible. It must have taken many, many people to move all of these carts around. Another notiable, whcih my collegues obsessed on, were the strange white spiders in the tunnels, which quickly became known as asbestos spiders... the butt of far, far too many jokes. At the end of the night, we popped out a manhole far far far from where we entered. Security at this god forsaken place seemed either minimal or just plain ignorant of what lays beneath. Hopefully It'll stay that way.
